Welcome to The Salt Spring Island Studio Tour!
The Salt Spring Studio Tour is an annual self-guided tour of more than 30 artist and artisan studios on the island. The arts and crafts are of exceptional quality and the tour also includes several farms and a vineyard.
The main season for the tour is July and August, and some studios are open year-round. Nearly half of the studios can also be found at the Saturday Market, so if Saturday is the only day you will be here, the Market provides a great opportunity to meet these artists. The Free Map is available on the ferries, at all island accommodations, visitor info centres and at the artist studios. You can also print it from this website or order a free copy by mail.
The best way to do the Tour is by car. Look for the Sheep Signs that dot the island, they direct you to the nearest studio! To avoid disappointment, check the open days and hours on your map for each studio, as they vary with the seasons.
